1973-1974 Postgraduate experience to obtain the Netherlands qualification Arts (General Practitioner) 15 March 1974

1974-1975 Army Service. First Lieutenant (Medical Officer). During this time I practised as a locum to various medical practitioners in Amsterdam.

1976-1980 Four years of training in Paediatrics (Prof. H. K. A. Visser) at the Sophia Childrents Hospital (Academical Hospital) Rotterdam

1980 Registered as a Paediatrician by the Committee for the Registration of Specialists of the Royal Netherlands Medical Association
